On Day 8 of Stretch Your Stamps 2, Nichol Magouirk made a card using graphic stamps that inspired me to finally ink up this great stamp set from Papertrey Ink.
This card was a bit of a challenge for me. I always love the cards that other people make with graphic stamps, but somehow I don't tend to choose these stamps myself when I sit down to make a card.
I stamped all the shapes in three summery colors of Hero Arts shadow inks (Mint Julep, Passion Flower and Soft Yellow). The Hero Arts inks are by far my favorite inks! I stamped the birthday with Versamark Ink and heat embossed using this amazing embossing powder.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Graphic is very difficult for me to work with as well Tone. I have yet to complete anything for those two days of class:(
ReplyDeleteYour color palette is so soft and feminine. I like the yellow as it's lightness adds interest and movement to your pattern.
Great job!

DeleteTone, this is one of my favorite stamp sets ever, and I adore what you've done with it! The effect is so soft because of the colors and the movement of the design across the card reflects really good placement. Thanks so much for playing along with the OLS Challenge! I hope to see more of your work in the future!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Susan! I'm very happy you like my card, and I really appreciate your feedback on it! :-)

ReplyDeleteThank you, Taheerah! Haha, yes even though the vases are quite small in the picture, I was drawn to them because of the colors! :-)
