and I'm becoming...
...You guessed it: 30! ;-)
My boyfriend wanted me to make a card that he could give me for my birthday. As he put it: "I can buy a card, but it will never be as nice as you make yourself." :-)
How to: I first drew the number 30, cut it out, distressed the edges and stamped the houndstooth for some interest. Then I clear embossed the heart on the yellow paper, cut it out and distressed with black. The butterfly was stamped in black and cut out.
On the background I stamped flowers and hearts in a few different sizes to make my own patterned paper.
Lastly, I white embossed the sentiment, added the background to a white card base, adhered the cut out pieces with pop dots and drew the dashed line.

Hugs & Kisses
Hello and Happy New Year!
I hope 2012 will be a wonderful and creative year for you!
This card I made quite a while ago for the Lily Pad sketch challenge, but I also wanted to share it here on the blog. This was the sketch:
And this is the card I created:
Firstly, I stamped the dots on a piece of kraft card stock, cut it into three strips and adhered them to the card. Then I stamped the heart from Always Hearts in Worn Lipstick, cut it out and added it with pop dots. Lastly, I put the sentiment from Many Hearts in the bottom right corner.
The card is so lovely in real life. :-)
Hugs and Kisses,
